I just came across this video of Hawkeye, who is probably the only scuba diving kitty. Hawkeye is owned by a Gene Alba, who rigged up a kitty version of scuba gear and now the cat scuba dives all the time..not only Hawkeye, but his canine companion.

It makes me feel that I need a swimming pool...lol
to bad I am not in California...it is cold outside and my dogs are under cover snoring again with 'Reiki' music on...they love music...lol
Maybe I can make first headset for pet to listen to music and remote control so they can change from 'Reiki' to 'Rainforest' or 'Underwater Cave'...
For cat I will have 'ocean catch'.....
OK, I am on my way to create competition....

I have to confess I wasn't even aware there was such a thing as "Reiki" music...is it sort of like New Age-y? Can you recommend any music to me?

I thought that was real genius how the cat's owner came up with such a scuba diving gear for a kitty (and dog)

Well! And Hawkeye isn't even a Bengal! Harmony, my kitty companion in a raccoon coat, likes to hop up into the kitchen sink and watch for drips... that's water drops, not inhabitant or visitors to the abode ;o)

Maybe your cat and Hawkeye could have a scuba diving contest

I just watched the video, pyewacket, and Hawkeye is indeed an extraordinary kitty, lol. The fact that he and his canine companion get on so well together is unusual in itself. From everything I've heard about cats they are supposed to be afraid of water, so that makes it even more unique.

Yes, cats usually are afraid of water..I don't even think I could get one of my kitties agreeable to a bath...they would have a fit!
