Whether university students should live on or off campus?

i am a college student now.In my university,living off the campus in not allowed,but there are still some students choosing to rent their own apartments outside,because they think they have the ringt to dicide where they live.the school officials argued that living in the campus is safer.whatis your opinion?can you share your thoughts with me?

Hi,jasmine, The first thing I wana to say is that"welcome to mylot" Actually ,in my point of view,I 'd like to live in the university rather tahn rent a house of my own to live outside which is insecure for us.. I wann ato know why we choose to enter the university?the atmosphere ,the friendly aura,so many choices of voriety books which u can freely choose to read.. Does all these can gained from the house u rent? Rather tahn spent a lot of time on these things we should aim at to spare more time to equip ourselves.. This is what I am thinking.. Molly
