Am using HP scanner, it good i have it almost 1 year, still working good, even i can print picture of my daughter just i buy a picture paper. to save money from photoshop he he he.

Thats great ! .I have heard that scanners do get a bit crazy after some while . 1 year with no problems thats good to hear.What are the specifications /model no.

I only want a scanner that can scan photos and documents and save them to my computer.There are various scanners available in the market but when I go out there to buy one I get realy confused .What is DPI .The higher it is the better the results ?

Besides printing and scanning, it can perform the ff functions:
Copier - the feeder has 100 sheets input capacity
Faxing - can be connected directly to the telephone line (no need to connect to a PC)
Mono PC Fax Send - sending/receiving fax using the computer
Direct Photo Print - this is my favorite. It can print pictures directly from a digital camera; no need to use a pc. it has a built-in memory card reader as well.
