I think it would be very hard to live in a world if you lost your hearing.. But imagine if you lost your sight. I think taht would be even worse then loosing your hearing, You couldnt see where you were going, or what was coming at you, you couldnt type, you couldnt read, you couldnt watch tv.. I hope i am never either, but i'd rather be deaf then blind i think.

Personally, my world would end! My whole life is centered around music, (my handle, my nickname, my avatar, is musicman! I have been playing music in a band for 40yrs, I listen to music all day long, I have to listen to music before I can go to sleep, I teach guitar, I help two other bands play at various functions!
Both of my computers are filled with 50% of music loaded on them! One of them I use only for making and recording music! and of course you have to have sound to have music!!

I don't think it would be so horrible to be deaf. I think it would be devasting to be blind though. I could handle not hearing but not seeing, that would be a big problem for me. I have problems with my left eardrum and I can't always hear out of it. I then have to plug my right ear when this happens or I get dizzy and my world spins. So I sometimes don't hear the world around me and it's not so bad. I am going to specialists about this problem and they can't seem to find out whats wrong with me. I have been suffering with this for over 5 years and have been tested so many times and still no answeres. I have another appointment with a new specialist in April and hopefully this one will figure it out and fix it.
