Ubuntu is a community developed,linux based OS that is perfect for laptops, desktops and servers. It contains all the applications you need - a web browser, presentations, documents, spreadsheet software, instant messaging and much more.

This is a free software under several licences. we don't have to pay for it. So if anybody wants this CD, what you need to do is just e-mail to them. I think this is the only Operating system which is free of virus. The producers of this software also encourages passing it to your friends, copying, reinstalling, and modifying.
I like this software and I also uses this.

It's true my friend, Ubuntu is developed by a very good team, in case of problems is possible have help in chat or in the official forum is possible have all helps you need. Is available another ubuntu distro too, is called Medibuntu, is developed for support all multimedia contents. Actually the stable version is 7.10 " Gutsy Gibbon" (7 mean 2007 and 10 mean october, since when this version is stable and available for download and use). The next version'll be 8.04 "Hardy Heron" is actually in development :-)

I discovered the power of linux 3 years ago using ubuntu 5.04, for me ubuntu is the best linux distro available :-)
