3 dogs in Maryland inherited a sum of $800,000 left by their owner that passed away last year.
"The dogs — named Buckshot, Katie and Obu-Jet — inherited $400,000 and a house in Hagerstown with the death last year of owner Ken Kemper. Altogether, their estate is worth about $800,000."
Those dogs are very lucky when you look at it. Sometimes, human beings do not get a single cent when their parent's passed away. They are lucky since they had avery animal loving master.
"The executor of Kemper's estate, longtime friend Karin Anderson, said that when the dogs die, she will probably donate the remainder of the estate to an animal charity because that's what Kemper would have wanted."
What would you do if you were that lucky?

oh gee, that would of been great for the dogs to win that money, but seriously how can a dog spend money wisely. other than spending it on being looked after and that. but it would be nice of Karin to donate money to charity when the dogs die.

I have to say that they are very lucky dogs in the world. I wonder whether Ken Kemper had any children, as he left the money to the dogs rather than someone else. When these dogs pass away, how to deal with the left money?

It is good enough for a dog to inherit that big amount of money! The only pity is that dogs do not live for very long!

A beagle and two laborador mixes. Good dogs.
The article says they get spaghetti with meatballs and garlic toast once a week and they love it.

Who said a dog's life is bad? Not in this case! I'm hopping on the bandwagon to adopt those darling doggies. Wait -- they aren't pit bulls I hope. I'll read the story :)
Would I adopt a pit bull for $800,000? Hmm. Just a thought.

It is very amazing story. All these things i have seen in films before. The master was a true dog lover and have left the fortune. But i really doubt how they can use this huge fortune. May be there are some honest people who will spend the money for the dogs but I don't think that they are able to understand really what they have got and how to enjoy that.

This was a very grateful dog owner.
Where I live this would not be possible as only human beings can inherit something.
So one could let a person inherit who will take care of the dogs.
Sometimes the love of a dog pays off.
Happy mylotting.

Wow, what lucky dogs they were to have such loving parents that they left them everything. I think it's absolutely wonderful and it sounds like the person over the dogs now are really looking out for them and the money that was left and has a good head on her shoulders. To just donate that much money to another animal institute or something like that is quite unselfish and is truly amazing to hear about. God bless them all!
