Do you read in the bathroom?

I do not think that I could read while I am in the toilet since it would be very difficult to "concentrate" on what I would be doing at that time. Furthermore, the magazines or newspaper might get wet and damaged. LOL!

I don't but my husband does and somehow I don't like it. My bathroom's clean but I just don't like the idea of having to touch a book that's been in there. My husband takes the newpaper in there too. So, I just make sure I read it before he does..lol

Hi lilybug, before I don’t have such habit to read in the bathroom. I never realize when I have adopted this habit and like to bring newspaper into the bathroom. I find that reading in the bathroom (only in my personal bathroom) with music on could be rather enjoying as I have nothing else to do during that movement.

No, I guess not. Some people do, but I like to get my 'business' done and get out of there.

I do read in the bathroom. In fact it caused me great trouble the other day. I mentioned this the other day in a discussion: one way to end the year. A couple of pages fell in with my laundry. What a mess. I don't recommend it.

Yes, I keep craft magazines in the bathroom and a couple other magazines. Have a magazine rack that sits on the floor next to the tub so it's within reach. Sometimes I stand in the bathroom just to warm up since it's the warmest room in the house. Stand on the floor vent and read once in awhile.

Yup. But magazine or new paper except for the book.

No, I don't keep any kind of literature in my bathroom, but I have noticed over 50 percent of the bathrooms I have visited at relatives and friend's houses DO have little rack type things next to their toilet paper dispensers. I can't believe that is something that registers with me at all, but I have noticed what usually people have in their bathroom is either catalogs they get in the mail they would never take the time to read outside of the bathroom, or crossword puzzles. lol

hi lily! ^__^ i don't read a book or a newspaper inside the bathroom. but sometimes, if i am texting with someone important, i would bring my cellphone inside so as to be able to reply immediately to that person in case his text message arrive while i'm inside the bathroom. ^__^ i know some people who brings newspaper in the bathroom though. its funny when you think about it. because it means that they usually take a long time to finish whatever it is they do inside. LOL

I have a whole shelf full of magazines and puzzle books in the bathroom. Yep, I'm definitely one of those people too. These day's I usually do a Sudoku puzzle in the bathroom. Annie

Yes I do that too. I even listen and watch videos and podcasts on my ipod while in the bathroom. It feels good to be just sitting there for awhile doing your business and do another small business.heheh! It is strange..but I do find a strange comfort in the bathroom.

Oh definately, there is usually a book sat on top of the cistern - quietest place in the house lol. I have also found it quite relaxing to soak in the bath with a good book.
