Do you spend New Year's Eve with your family? What do you do together?

My husband and I have always passed on getting a sitter and going out as a couple on New Year's Eve. Instead we spend it together with our three boys as a family. Over the years we have done different things to have fun together, for instance getting together with extended family, playing lots of board games, having a movie marathon night, attending a bowling New Year's celebration at the alley and taking a drive with a big thermos of coffee/hot chocolate while looking at Christmas light displays and of course watching the ball drop at time square on TV. What do YOU do on New Year's Eve? What will you do tonight? I need some new creative ideas.

I think because we spend Thanksgiving and Christmas together we are sick of each other by the time New Years comes along...lol!! Not really but you would think so. My kids are adults and go off and do their own thing, my mother is over 80 and is in bed almost as early as I am and my daughter is working. So, no we don't spend New Years together.

What did you do for New Year's Eve and/or Day. Did you go out, spend time with friends or just chill out at home?

Since my father has passed and my wife and I have seperated, I only get to gehter with my brother, sister, mother and my two sons. We play a few games, have some snacks and wait for the ball to drop.
