I've never really had a problem with swearing. I guess I don't really remember not doing it, since I grew up around people that swore. *shrugs*
I don't swear at work because I don't want to offend my coworkers or customers. I don't swear around children if I can help it, though sometimes in public places you don't really know if there are kids around. I don't swear in front of my own child if I can help it, because I don't want him to pick it up and get in trouble when he starts school. But if I'm among friends, swearing just becomes part of my normal speech pattern. In a way, it's part of my "relaxed" mode, just like making dirty jokes or giggling. :P

I dont usually swear unless I;m really mad. I think it is good because it allows you to expres your fustration and acts as a way to release your fustration instead of botteling it up. I guess I;m trying tosay it is better for your mental health. It does on the other hand create a hostile environment for the people arond you so I guess you have to be selective where you swear.

I do honestly care for other people but an incident happened where everyone started to think of me as a bad person it makes me seem more tougher and that gave me more confidence so I came into the habit of swearing to keep up that reputation cuz I don't wanna look weak cuz then i'd simply get my @$$ kicked
