Your favorite place - in your city?

I live in america, and my favorite place in our state is a park with a waterfall and a statue of Nokomis carrying Hiawatha. I think it is very romantic. Since I cannot leave photos yet, it's:

Since I went to work for the forestry service this past spring, I have found so many incredible places. But, one of my favorites is the local park here where I live, it has a pond, swans, ducks, and plenty of photo ops, and armed with a new camera......I'm really loving it. lol

Great pic! Lucky job, too. Should the water rise; it looks like a 'prime' spot for a beaver dam. (I'm in America)

My favorite place is the southern most end of South Bay on Lake Champlain in New York State. When you enter this area it is like going back 100 years in time. You see blue heron, turtles, fish, and the place is so primitive and natural.
On bank of a stream is a pile of rocks that are so cold that ice and snow are in them all year around. It is just beautiful. I wish I had picture to share.
