My kids asked me if I would stay up and watch the ball drop... I bought them sparkling grape juice and told them that I would try... Maybe a rousing game of uno might help keep these tired eyes open..... Wall

We might stay up as late as eleven. I've never been too excited about the ball dropping. (That's all it does? Yawn.) Getting old, I guess. Every year we go to a party on New Year's day, we bring the fudge. And chili. (It's Minnesota; our chili is probably meaty ketchup to most folks).

Yeah it just drops . . . but the concerts, comediennes, stupid stuff before hand always gives a final blast-off, then it drops and forwards into a party that lasts well into the night for some. For others, we will just be staying up and watching whatever the Writers Guild has not affected and then crash into neverland for however long. 'till next year

Yes We will try and stay up to watch the ball drop. If it was up to me and my wife we would go to bed early but we have 3 kids ages 6,8 and 9 and they always want to stay up late and this is really the only time that they can. They are on Christmas break so they dont really have to get up too early tomorrow. I hope I will make it. Happy New Year to all

We are planning to stay up until midnight, but because we are not in Eastern Standard time, we are not sure if we will actually see the ball. We are currently in Arizona, not sure what they do in this part of the world, but there has got to be something.

If I remember to watch it then I will. I have no problems staying up to this time (and later), but I usually have the TV off at these times. So, it's just a matter of remembering for me. :P

Aww thats really sweet. I bought sparkling grape juice for our New Years eve dinner at my mothers house today. My kids went to their grandfathers house last night with their father. I didnt want to go since my ex and I are split up and I didnt want to be around him. They came home at 10 and my daughter was crying because she wouldnt be able to stay up and watch the ball drop. Last year we did but this year I just thought they will be miserable tomorrow if I let them stay up that late so we all went to bed.
