if you are successful that means you have lot of money

at times, success goes with money. but it is not necessarily. success can be measured by the goals achieved. and there are many goals which have nothing to do with money. for example, service to others does not need money to be able to do so.

I would say that people judge success in other's life by scaling through the monetary terms. But in my point of view, I judge success in life through self satisfaction and not through money. Because money may come and go but not the satisfaction. It is one which once gained, rest for ever. Everyone will be satisfied not only if they have enough money but all the happiness that they derive out of it. A successful man is one who satisfies himself and the others around him with whatever he has...

Self-satisfaction; not money. A person with a ton of money could be a total jerk and then I don't consider them successful at all. I think your personality and the way you treat people is what determines how succuessful you are. That's just life.....it's not about money. It's about who and how you are and how you make people feel.

You are successful when you are working at something you really love doing. You enjoy it so much you never think about the money. Do you think Picasso thought his paintings were worth Millions of dollars each when he painted them? This guy was successful because he loved and enjoyed his work. He wasn't the least bit concerned about money.

I don't think that it necessarily means you have a lot of money. Sometimes being successful is by accomplishing all that you wanted out of life or having a family to love and cherish, being a mother...there are so many ways of being successful.
