How many miles do you travel to your office?

My hearty wishes to all the MyLot community members. I travel around 40 miles to reach my office everyday and I feel very much tired. Also in the evening when I start from office it would be almost 9PM and it would take atleast two hours to reach my house. When I return home, I have the dinner and go to sleep. How about you? Is your office located nearby your residence or how much distance?

I live just a stone throw from my office, it saves me a lot of transport hussles and I sometime have the opportunity to run office affairs from my house because my house and my office are just close by.

I travel about 7 miles to work. It takes about an hour and two buses to get there.

Thanks for you wishes and I would like to wish you the same. You have to travel quite a lot everyday. It's no wonder that you feel tired. My office (University) is located at around 5kms distance from my residence. But, because of transportation options (public transport), It takes at least 22 minutes to reach my office. That can also be 35 minutes depending on the day.

I have no idea how far I go to get to work everyday. All I know is it takes an hour by bus and that the bus does not take the most direct route, but at least I do not have to transfer ever. I just get on outside my building and ride it to the corner of the block the school I work on is.
