How old were you when you started reading Harry potter?

Well, i think i was about 30 years old when i started reading Harry Potter... that was the time when i had no work and was like on a vacation after two years of working abroad... i went to the mall and saw the box collection from book 1 to 5... so i thought... why not read them while i don't have anything to do yet... Since then... i can't get enough of the books... after finishing the box collection... i immediately bought book 6...

I have started to read the series out of curiosity when th e 4th book came out and I immediately love them. It's 6 or 7 years ago?

I was already an adult when they came out. :P I have re-read all of them now, and I'll probably go through and re-read them all again before too long. I love reading the same books over and over because it does seem like I find things I missed before every time. Also, my own perspective on things changes as my life changes, so reading the same books again is interesting in that I sometimes understand things differently.

They came out when I was an adult. I read the first one when I was in my late 20s.

The age that I was when I first began reading the Harry Potter series I can not remember However, what I do remember is that I was a preteen. As far as what ages pre-teen is to me- it is around 11-12. I dont believe that I thoroughly enjoyed the book however, until I watched the movie.

I remember it was when I was 11 years old the same age as harry potter .So I love him very much .He likes one of my important friends

I first read them when I was already 15 years old. I introduced them to friends and soon were the topic of our discussions. When I entered college a year later I found a friend who shared the same passion for Harry Potter as much as I do. I loved the way that we discuss and "psychologize" Harry and the other characters. She was the one who has given me the idea that Severus Snape was in love with Lily Evans. We also loved discussing about Harry Potter's choice of girls, and the way he solves his problems. Unfortunately when the 7th book came out we were both graduated and we see each other very seldom.

Maybe I was 16-17 year old, I don't know. I've started with buying the first two and then, a week later, I buyed the third and the fourth because I wanted to know how it ended
