what are all your first impressions of Canadians?

Hello there. I have not had much contact with Canadians. My impression of the country is that it's a relaxing and laid-back nation. A nation that is great for retirement. Based on that, I think its people should be peace loving. =D

I think they're pretty friendly, laid-back people, not loud or boastful. Some I've met are maybe a bit reserved. They like the advantages of being close to the U.S., but can also find it frustrating to be living next to such a large neighbor with such huge financial, economic, and cultural impact. I've always enjoyed traveling to Canada, and the people are one of the factors that make it enjoyable.
