Did you like Ubuntu?

First of all, I would like to know how many of you know about Ubuntu.....(if there is anybody who don't know about this are requested to view another discussion which was put by me called - Introducing Ubuntu.
Now I would like to know how many of you uses this?
And now at last I would like to know how many of you likes this?

It's good because it's free and a lot less viruses and spyware and a lot less system resources. I've tried it a bunch of times and always ended up going back to windows...reason...because i'm more familiar with windows and it's a lot easier. There are a lot more programs for windows and it's less confusing to install programs. Just my 2 cents

I was also like you ..... I always did the the same thing........ that if you get more used to Ubuntu- my opinion is that Ubuntu is better...cauz I feel it is best for programming and all

I'm posting this from Ubuntu right now.
I've used the OS since the Edgy release and I like it very much. I haven't booted to anything for more than a year now and I'm quite happy.
I use it for my work, primarily. I'm a web developer by trade. And I love the ease of installation of the stuff that I need, like the Apache, PHP and MySQL webserver.

i know, isn't the easy of installation in ubuntu great! one or two clikcs in syna[tic (the software installer for those who don't know) and bam your done! no more....waiting.....waiting...waiting....updating....waiting....connecting to server....reboot....activate now....lol
you gotta love it!

I have downloaded ubuntu to my computer, the download took about one hour. Then I wanted to try it and it would not run on my machine.
I was very disappointed as I heard so many good things about ubuntu/linux before.
I would gladly try it again if I found a version that works.

what ...............!!!!!!!!!! Ubuntu did'nt work on u'r system ???
I suggest You to check your system requirements.....
