bottled water - water
I dont think you can drink too much water. The only thing would be like.. if you are drinking bottled water, some of it has a high sodium content (salt) and that wouldnt be so good for you. But I really dont think that you can drink TOO much water.. I think its just impossible. there is nothing to water.. we're 90% made up of water! so how could water hurt us?:)

Around 60 to 70 % water for the human body, plants often have up to 90 % water. Its always possible to get to much of anything. Just because you think it is impossible doens't have any meaning to if it really is impossible. Now there actually exists something like that, called Water intoxication or hyperhydration intoxication, something potentialy lethal. If you feel like reading about it, ill give you a link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/water:intoxication

Yea i have heard of that, but you dont get it from DRINKING too much water. Most people who get it are women to the best of my knowledge, and they get it in the last month or so when they are pregnant. Am i right ?

Well, it actually depends on your health status. It is true we need around 2 liters of water daily, but that vary on the usage. The basic rule is, input=output. The watter we drink, through our stomach, goes into the blood. So, if you drink too much water at once, before the kidneys have the chance to filtrate it, it could lead to drastically increasing of the blood pressure. Especially if there is a problem with the kidneys, it could be even more dangerous. Like everything, there is always too much. You should drink water, only as much as you need. There is no need to push your organism to the limits. Drink slowly, one glass at a time, and let your kidneys do their job, so you won't cause any problem.

It depends how much a day you drink. It can be a symptom for diabetes.I think that's what your sister was thinking when she told you her opinion.Ask her.
