I checked out a few of your responses, and the common thing I'm seeing is that they are very short. I saw quite a few two-line responses from you. While I understand that on a simple topic it might be hard to come up with more than a couple of lines, mylot often doesn't pay at all for short responses.

I just had another thought too, actually. Since you don't have a star yet, it's hard to tell how you're being rated, but those short responses are probably getting you some "-" ratings. And the mylot discussion rating system faq claims that ratings do count towards the earnings algorithm. So that could be a problem for you as well.

This might be due to the content of your discussions and the other thing is how many lines did you post on your discussions. It should not be a repeated one and there should be no spelling mistakes. Make sure to start new discussions and respond to the others discussions with quality. All the best...

Welcome to mylot. Just wait patiently, perhaps it will be updated later on. Sometimes, what you respond today will be credited the next day, so don't lose hope.
I also advised that you participate in some topics that interest you most and keep up the quality work, okay. :-)

there is really no way on how mylot computes for the earnings. i too am preplexed on how they come up with the earnings. what i do know, however, is that the more you participate in any discussions, the more you will earn points and correspondingly, earnings. that's what i do and i earn much by doing it.

Then again ,I have read the guidelines right now after I answered here and the algorithm according to which you get paid is very complicated and cannot be discovered unless you are one of the mathematicians that developed it.
The other answerers must have a point since I didn't actually read your input here on mylot.
