Three accounts of my encounter to my favorite niece,a five year old talkative girl, with long straight shiny black hair, eyes to a shape of an almond and a laugh that is full of life, it energizes and inspires my spirit!One weekend, I brought my baby to my sister's house.She saw my baby then says..."Why Auntie have a baby, and how come Mama you don't get one.My sister and I were just silent having a silent smiles and keeping an eye contact with each other without adding any comment.Suddenly, my niece got a glass and pour her Mom a glass of milk and said, "here Mama, maybe you need more milk so you can also have a baby soon".We laughed and my niece said, "Isn't it babies love milk so you need to have more to have one". Another instance,my niece asked me..."Why is it that the sea tastes so salty...Ah maybe too many people when taking the ferry boat cries so hard while having their journey.Tears is salty, thus the sea is contaminated from tears of people".What an excellent logic indeed,gave me smiles in my face. Lastly, I had spent my New year to their place and while I was putting my baby to sleep, she asked me..."Auntie why your baby is not yet big like me...you think God had stored it still in heaven?".That was so angelic to me hearing this so I said, yes God wants me to enjoy my baby so your cousin will know his Mama very well, that is why he is not grown up yet... Ahhh, from the mouth of Babes, such an Angel here on earth nurturing our spirit to savour their childlike innocence and gentleness.To see things in a childlike manner,unaware of reality yet not afraid to be inquisitive.Those gentle and Angelic moments that made us look life like a dream...a magic, a fairy tale one time...unnoticed of reality, free of worry and pain.If only then we could be like that child forever!!!For you guys...any Angelical moments you have with your children, relatives or any children not related to you???Please share your Angelic moments here in mylot.
