How do I change my avatar? / myLot

I've uploaded a suitable photo but nowhere can I find how to make it my avatar! I'm sick of being a little white man asking to go to the toilet on a puke lime background...

Hey, I'm normally pretty good at these things, I belong to a lot of social networking, comping and other sites but for the life of me this one had me stumped! Glad that my question can help out others :)

First of all, welcome to myLot! I hope you have loads of fun here like I do! It's filled with lots of great people! About the avatar, look in the left column on your page. In the 3rd box down, you will see a link titled "edit your preferences". It is in here that you can change your avatar. Have fun and Happy New Year!
