Church On News Years Day

I was just wondering if the church you belong to has church on New Years Day. The Church I belong to, New Apostolic Church has Church New Years Eve to ring out the old Year and then on New Years day we have a sevice to ring in the new year. It is good to start the new year off right going to chuch. Did anyone go.

Our worship day is Sunday. We did not have worship service on New Year's eve or January 1. New Year's day is not an affair of the church. In fact, it's not even in the Holy Bible and as the birth of Christ, the apostles and disciples did not also celebrate New Year's day.

Well our normal worship day is Sunday too but we celebarate some holidays in the church. We feel that it is a good idea to have church New Years eve because it is a way to end the new year in church thanking god for all he has done for us through the year and What a great way to start the new year by being in church.

I have never heard of New Years service. I went to New Years Eve service. Its the first time in 6 years I have attended one. I had a really good time.
