I personally do not care for Britney Spears. Actually, my comment for her is not apporiate so we're going to leave it at that.
Her sister on the other hand, I was quite shocked when I heard this. I still don't believe she's going to end up like her sister but I know it's going to be extremely difficult for her now.
If your 16 year old girl was pregnant what would your reaction and what would you do?
Well, One rule in my house is NO boyfriends or girlfriends live here. Espically, when your 16!
I don't worry about my 16 year old daugther thgouh, she has her head on straight and sticks to her morals. She still is not allowed to have a live-in boyfriends.
As for dating an 18/18 year old when your 16. 18 I'm pretty ok with because our neighbor is 18 so she knows how to keep them in line, so to speak X]
19 is just a no. They more likely college boys with one thing on ther eminds and when you do end up pregnany, majority of the time the guy won't be supportaive.
Noted: I said MAJORITY
So, how would you handle this if this happned to you?

Teen pregnancy is a difficult situation no matter who you are, however, Jamie Lynn Spears is in a "charmed" environment so to speak. She has earned enough money to support a child even at her young age. Most teen mothers end up on welfare or with low paying jobs. Those who manage to earn their way in life have a much more difficult time than she will have. She probably already has tutors, so finishing her education will not be as difficult for her.
If I had a daughter in a similar situation, I would do whatever I could to support her throught the difficult time.

I would be upset if it happened to my child. But if it did I would just tell her to have the baby and I'd help her take care of it. I don't believe in aborting a baby just because you got pregnant when you were young and unmarried. I keep hearing about Jamie Lynn Spears but it happens to other young kids too. They just keep talking about her so much because she is a celebrity.

The first thing is, none of my children are allowed to even THINK about one on one dating until they are 16, so they definitely wouldn't be living with someone three years older at that point in time. And they wouldn't be dating anyone more than a year or two older...definitely not anyone already out of high school.
However, if one of my girls were to wind up pregnant (they are currently 17 and 15), they would either be keeping the baby or giving it up for adoption....the choice would be theirs and the father's to make. If they kept the baby, I would help them out, but they would be the ones raising the child and doing the majority of care, not me.

I'd probably make her abort unless she could move out on her own and support it. Jamie has no problem with that as she makes more in one episode of her show than I have made all my life so far, so she can afford to hire nannies, servants and attendants to care for that child's every move.
And Jamie is supposed to be a role model. Not anymore!
