Call Center Job - Bad or Good Job.

At any job there are bad influences. and i dont know what about bad health you mean exactly

I think you have answered the question your asking. There are advantages and disadvantages in working in call centers. So far in the Philippines in terms of salary offers and benefits Call center can give and offer the best package compared to a regular day jobs. That is why many unemployed are flocking to call center to test their luck if they can be hired and earn big. But as you have said there are disadvantages in it first is the health since you are working graveyard shifts then you are most likely adjust you biological clock which at times if you are not physically prepared you'll easily succumb to sickness especially if you are not used to talking 8 hours then most likely its your vocal chords will be affected. With regards to morality issues there were reported of infidelities in some married individuals since they work at nights and usually urges do happen at night so miracles do happen at work. But I guess these morality issues can be controlled by the person itself. If you are strong willed and can resist temptations you can easily live through it. If you are planning to work in a calkl center you better prepare yourself mentally and physically because you really have to pay a price in every good pay you would receive.

compensation, no comment about that. health? it's a big factor, because your body would get weak since it's a graveyard shift. but it's really your option, especially the influence you'll encounter. everything is just how weak or strong your character is. if you would be easily pursuade then you're weak. it really depends on the person not the place.

Well good luck with it. I have been in the customer service industry for most of my adult career. With much of that being spent in call centers. It has alot to do with attitude. Depending on what call center you will work in. I've been in market research. I've spent a few years as a member/provider service rep in the health insurance industry as well. You can make good money. You will also deal with cranky people. People may cuss you out, and hold you responsible for the mess up they are dealing with. The key is positive attitude. Call centers aren't bad. There are good people. And you may come across individuals who've been at it too long. Just like anything else.
