When I was in my teens, I went to cave in Thacher Park New York. I found a cave and went in searching for bats. Man did I find bats, there were hundreds of them. Non got stuck in my hair. Has anyone ever gone caving in search of bats?

Well.. Ive never gone caving in search of bats, Ive been closer to them than that. Im a member of a wildlife organisation known as WILDLIFE ARC, I care for flying foxes until they are able to be released back into the wild. When you get to know them they are such fasinating little creatures, they clean themselves like a cat & have the same temperament as a dog. They are very affectionate & love cuddles too. It is such a sad moment when you have to release them, because you've raised them from babies & generally have them for 4-5 mths, so you become very attached to them. I THINK THEY'RE ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS !!!

It sounds like you really enjoy taking care of flying foxes. Do you have any pictures.

Yes, I have pictures but I will have to get them downloaded onto here for you to see. I do love flying foxes..they are the cutest things. Noone understands them unless you actually have the hands on experience.

I don't need to go caving! In the summer here in Canada lots of bats fly over my house. 3 actually got into my house.

I live in Waterford, New York. I have a bat house that bats refuse to live in, but last year I found a bat in my house as well.
