This is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Just mixing colors to try to get something like what the original artist created was a lot of time. Wish they had white in the color choices, I may have some white from another kit, I can make black with the darker colors, but can't lighten up the med. tones that they gave me without white. But it was fun and interesting. Just will take a lot more time than I thought. Wish I had gotten Kirigami one in a way. Maybe after I've done it for awhile, I'll like it.
Have you tried any of the craft calendars? If not, what new crafts/projects will you be trying this year? Has any craft been more than you bargained for? Take care

Painting each one takes so long. I wish I had chosen an easier one.
Easier ones aren't too bad. Thanks for responding and take care.

I have not tried a water color calender. We usually pick one up at our bank. This time, I did not. And since we do not get the paper anymore, we do not get that recipe calender from Safeways. Besides I would not dare attempt a craft calender. It would be a mess when I finished, besides I do not know if they have any up here in Canada.

The recipe calendar from Safeways sounds interesting. Did you get any good recipes? I had a recipe calendar 2 years ago. The California raisin council had one it would send people for free. I read about it on About.com, where they have freebies, so I sent for it. Really nice recipes.
It's been so long since I've been to Canada, I don't know what is up there in my area in either Quebec or Ontario. Used to go Western Style Square Dancing as a teen up there. As a kid we used to go camping. Take care
