do you post your real pictures on your profile?

I'm one of those people who prefer to be private and don't want to post a picture in my profile. I don't have anything against people who are into posting of their photos, i just don't feel like doing it. sure, i have my personal pics but i would only show them to people whom i consider real friends-- not just acquaintance, in the internet.

Well I don't blame them, but I myself don't care, it doesn't make any difference to me! Actually, I'm hoping Eva Mendez will see me, and want me to be her dance partner in one of her movies!!

I do because of giving authenticity in my position an honest repertoire is the best way to make my self publicly accepted . . . or not. At least a face is served with the voice

oneandonemakesix-- I think using pics you took is also a creative expression of self and equally appealing. My avatar right now is a very profound-meaningful shot I took that matches my id here at myLot--a sojournseeker needs and walks many bridges . . .

I posted my picture as an avatar on myLot once but I removed it after some time. I don't hold many pictures of myself on hard drive or flash memory or cd's. I guess not posting our pctures is a way of saving our privacy. If someone want to do this it's okay. I'm not a fan of that.

I have posted pictures in my Friendster account, but mostly group pictures, not solo pictures. The only solo picture you will see of me is that one I am using on my avatar now. Cheers!

It depends what the site is for or about.
I don't mind putting a picture of myself on most sites i visit, but unless i trust most people who go on the site i won't put a picture with me and my son.
I do not put a picture with me and my son on any community like myspace or facebook unless i can permit who sees it and who doesn't.

Hello dear glitzypurple. I can positively tell you that I do put real pictures on my profile including the avatar of mine. It is true me with my real picture. I love my avatar real better than other stuff. Thanks for your discussion.

I have my real photo up. On all the site I am on I always put up at least of photo of myself.
