Me, my brother and sister used to watch Soap ALL THE TIME! We loved it and laughed for the entire time it was on. My husband never watched it and I'm going to see if they're on DVD at Blckbuster so I can watch them again and he can watch them for the first time. I can remember running across Soap marathons every once in a while and we'd sit there and watch it for HOURS!!! Great memories...

I didn't watch as much Benson, but I'm really excited about watching Soap again!! I think about some things and I'll start laughing. My husband will probably not see the humor in it...

The opening of the original dark Shadows used to scare the heck out of me. I sowre my Mom purposely didn't change the channel just to freak me out.
I loved watching Soap, it was a riot. The whole crew was excellent, but like so many great shows, their best shows were inthe first 3 years.

I did not used to watch Soap. If I remember right I was about 10 when it was on. I hope you have fun watching it on DVD if you find it! My husband and I like to rent TV shows on DVD because it's fun to watch them all in order and really get a feel for the story line.

Through season 4 is on DVD at Blockbuster.com so I've got it added to my list.
Wow, you must be a youngin'!!!! I don't remember how old I was when it was on - either 15 or 22, I'll have to look at the dates of the shows when I get them.

Actually, it was back in the 70's so you aren't that much younger than me... Just remember, ignore what the body says, go with the minds age!

Well, I'm old enough to wish I felt a little bit younger. Does that count to not be a youngin' anymore? :)
