A man returns $185,000.00 check he found.
Reggie Damone of Jewett City found a $185,00.00 check in an envelope in front of a Dunkin' Donuts in downtown Norwich.
He said he was never tempted to cash the. "My mother always told me if you take something, you lose three thimes that amount. But if you do somethng good,

Hi friend,depend about your story off course i must return back that money because its not to have.i can't take someone else property.i think no good behavior if i take that money.its just my opinion.i don't mean anybody just give a view.

I've heard stories like that and situations too. I honestly don't know what I'd actually do, but I think I would return it. I would feel bad afterwards for keeping it and guilt will eat you alive if you let it. So just return it so you can avoid the guilt thing later.
At least, that's just me.
Though I'd be suspicious of a lost check like that. I can't imagine anyone losing that kind of money, you'd think they'd guard it with their life or something.

I think I would turn it in also, that would be the same as stealing, and that would be hard to live with just as you said.
As for losing a check, not sure how it happend but it seems that the person that lost it was use to writing check for that amount so maybe it was not as big a deal to them as it would be to us...lol
