How many litres of water do you drink on a day? what is the recommended quantity of water that one must intake on a day? I studied that it is important for females above 19 years of age to consume at least 2.7 liters of water per day whereas 3.7 liters per day should be an average consumption of water by male adults. The biggest benefit of drinking water: it keeps u alive :) Water keeps away dehydration. Lots of water is the best solution for a clear sparkling skin. Water is the cure to most urinary problems as well. How about you?

water is the ubiquitous chemical substance, composed of hydrogen and oxygen, that is essential for the survival of many forms of the life. Of course the human body is anywhere from 55% to 78% water depending on body size.To function properly, the body requires between one and seven litres of water per day to avoid Dehydration. It is not clear how much water is intake needed by healthy people, though most advocates agree that 6-7 glasses of water (approximately 2 litres)daily is the minimum to maintain the proper hydration. For those who have healthy kidneys,it is rather difficult to drink too much water, but(especially in warm humid weather and while exercising)it is dangerous to drink too little.People can drink far more water than necessary while exercising, however putting them at risk of water intoxication(hyperhydration)which can be fatal.
Drinking water at every opportunity can cause serious problems, such as hyponatraemia or water intoxication. As the water content of the blood increases, the salt content is diluted.Consequently the amount of salt is available to body tissue decreases, which can lead to problems with brain, heart and muscle function.Initial symptoms of over-dehyration include dizziness, nausea, apathy and confusion. However these symptoms are also associated with dehydration--So it's important to be aware of how much you are drinking. Thus you can get your daily requirements from sources other than pure water--your cup of tea counts!Water is the main ingredient of all drinks-carbonated drinks and still drinks, fruit juices and fresh fruit and vegetables all have high water content..
So finally as a clear message for everyone who are going to have water....that is DO IT ,but DON'T OVERDO IT..There is a proverb suggest.."TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS GOOD FOR NOTHING" so having more water also toxic...
