Isn't myLot paying us for the responses we get?

No, we don't get paid per response, but more popular discussions do earn more. There have been times when I was inactive for a few days and earned nothing and other times when I earned a couple cents.

I dont believe that mylot pays us for the responces we get. They only pay us for the responces that we give out. I believe that it is normal unfortunately. I would love it if we got paid for people responding to our posts.

I'm not really sure if we really don't get paid from the responses we get in our discussion.
However, what I observed, we do get paid for every response we get in our discussion especially if this was a newly created discussion. :-)

Yeah I know but I thought we were getting money from writing but also from getting our discussions replied. I am just trying to figure it out the way they are paying I never said I wanted it to be ONLY about members replying to my discussions but I thought it mattered and influenced our earnings nothing else.

Well...since myLot doesn't tell us how we make money, just that we do, I don't think anyone can be certain. I think you make 1 or more cents depending on how popular your post was when it was posted. I have had a lot of later responses and not seen any jump in earnings. I thought I would at least be making a few cents on the days I was gone, and I don't...So, I think it's normal :(

Hello dear lorelai. Yes, we are not paid if we receive responses, but when we participate in discussions only. By the way, have you paid attention to the Participations in the column Earnings, please? Yeah, that is right. I think that you have got the answer. It is our participation that offers us earnings. Thanks for your discussion, dear friend.

I rarely post, but answer a LOT, and my earnings show a pretty constant increase. When I add things to my comments or posts, I seem to come up with a few cents more... we need someone to correlate thisinformation, and it may answer the question!

I always seem to get a little something at times- other times no. I''m still kind of new though so not sure.

i think it is normal since they wont pay us for any responses on our discussions, that's why its better to answer discussions from other members other than answer you own discussion since you wont be getting any earnings from that.but if you really liked the topic earnings is not an agenda there.

Ok, I'll chime in. This is interesting, finding out that nobody really knows.
Wouldn't it be SLICK if they actually told us what we get paid for? I have read the link about how to collect and what we are paid for several times, and all it says is "for activity".
Thanks everyone for your 'beliefs' - I hope someone (from myLot) actually responds to this one.
