How many books you read per year?

Now, at the beginning of a new year it is time to evaluate such habits... and to make promises to be a better reader for the next 12 months. LoL

I read for fun. I read fiction books and when needed I read books for work. I also read craft books which I love.

I don't read nearly as many books now as I did before I had kids. I read maybe 6 books a year now. I have been trying to read more lately to try and show my 7 year old that reading is fun. He is not into reading at all. He would rather watch television or play computer games.

I always plan on reading more, and yet here I am, on the computer instead of curled up with a book! *lol* I'm also easily distracted by the T.V. My partner is always saying for me to come and watch a film with him instead! I really do want to read more though. I feel like I'm missing out by not doing it often enough!

For myself, if I am lucky 2. With kid activities, school functions, work, pets, husband, and an addiction to mylotting, who has the time? lol For my daughter we are up to 4 new library books a week. If we get her in the habit of reading, we may be able to have a quiet time during the week for an hour a day to read. She is still in the learning stages so time will tell.
