Anyone have ferrets? / myLot

I have 2. Charisse and Sharky. they are a lot of fun. They love playing with the cats as well as the dog and each other.

My 11 year old wants to know which one is Sharky since he likes that name. He wants to have three ferrets someday, but not until he moves out as my other son is severely autistic and we cannot have pets and I have asthma. Bonnie

Awesome! We have 2 ferrets that have been a part of the family for over 5 years now. They're the best! How long have you had your ferrets?

My first one Charisse I got in June of this year when she was 3 months old and Sharky I got about a month ago when he was 2 months old. They are wonderful fun little fuzzies.

yes we have 21. they are wonderful. doc, wyatta, frankie, frannie, pete, sadie, gizmo, bella, angel, casper, rebel, tanner, angel, chloe, baron, eve, alex, seirra, ginger, sassy, and babs. They are all my babies.

I am super jealous. I want one but my boyfriend has his dumb ideas about them. He feels that they are diseased and dangerous.... I tried to explain to him the difference between wild animals and domestic animals (from good breeder) I think he is just stuck in his grumpy ways and stubborn about it. We do have cats though so I am happy for now.... :)

my husband was the same way. He was pissy with me for 2 days after i got my first one. eventually started playing with her more. told him I wanted a 2nd one for her to play with and he was a little pissy then saying we didnt need another one but after seeing how happy they were together and watched them playing he started playing more and more. Recently he has been looking info up online about them and telling me all the neat things he found about them and how interesting critters they are and not just rats has he put it before. He found out how interactive they are.
