Responding to discussion

I get so frustrated on here when people leave one sentence responses or something that has no value. If the point of this site is to communicate then add something someone can respond to and keep the conversation going. Not thanks for the response. Once you say that there is no more to be said and the conversation has ended. Just a bit of friendly advice for those having a tough time on here. Thanks for reading and happy new year.

I know exactly what you mean!!! But on one side - they just might not have anything to say but really want to bump up their numbers. That to me is aggrivating too!!! I am like you and definitely prefer that people respond to the topic at hand and at least add something to the discussion - it's the only way to keep things going!!! Happy New Year to U too!!!

Ask a question, make a statement, throw in a new idea...anything. It is just so annoying when they something like thanks for the response. I mean if you cannot say something useful I would rather them not respond at all. That isnt meant to be mean just honest.
