The 4400 Cancelled?!?!?!?!

I read just two days ago that that USA network had cancelled two shows; The 4400 and The Dead Zone. I'm a little ticked about this! I've been watching the 4400 since the first season and am totally hooked on it! Yet they're just not going to make any more episodes, no wrapping it up or anything, just no more!

Yea, The 4400 is one of my favortite shows. Consistently good writing, a great cast, decent ratings. What the heck is USA thinking? At the very least they need do wrap things up with a 2 hour TV movie or maybe a mini-series.
Though I think it deserves 1 more season. Fan driven mailings and petitions have made a difference, particularly lately. So go sign the petition to save The 4400 here: http://www.savethe4400.com/

What have you heard about The 4400 ? Are the "save the 4400" any use of them ? DId they reconsidered about canceling this show ? I hope at laest other television will buy the next season, if not this year maybe in other year...The 4400 was damn such a good show :(

I am not happy either. They were canceled for low ratings and there is a petition to try saving them at the network that aired them. Visit the USA site to check it out.

I think they decided to cancel the 4400 when they ended the last season. It seemed like a logical place to end and wrap up to me. Perhaps they will make some tv-reunion shows in the future with it.

That is truly unfortunate because the show may not have had the 'high enough' ratings, at least the story had possibilities . . . I created a group at yahoo for the purpose of discussing the 4400, if you are interested in keeping it alive on yahoo, please check it out.
