How cold is too cold

I would say anything below 32 degrees and my son is not going to be playing outside. My daughter is not going to play outside if it is below like 40. I am not really a good judge of the temperature though. It is 22 here and I was outside in shorts and a t-shirt earlier when I went out to my car.

The school where my kids go, don't allow them outside recess if it is below 30. 20 is way too cold, but for myself, I would rather have 60 or even 70 degrees..lol

If it's too cold for me it's too cold for them, lol. I took the kids out in the snow yesterday. Our faces were red and chapped after a few minutes so we only spent about 15 minutes outside. The wind was too much (it was probably about 30 degrees, though). At my daughter's old school they had outdoor recess as long as the temp was 35 degrees so I guess anything under that is too cold.

I think 20 degrees is way too cold to take a child out to play. I don't even want to be outside when it's that cold. If I think it's cold to me then I don't take the kids out to play because I know they get colder than adults do.

if there is a real severe wind chill such as -25 (celcius) the kids at school are not even allowed to go out to play (the principal makes them all stay in and play games)

I don't let my kids go out unless it is over 30 degrees and there is now wind plus they have on alot of clothes sweatshirts, snowsuits, hat, gloves, coat etc. The schools rule is the kids go out for recess if it is above 20 and the windchill is above 0. Sometimes I think it is to cold for them to go out but the school makes them go anyways.
