Yes the title is true. It's started. the catalogs from mail order seeds flowers trees etc are rolling in to me now. This is the same way I started off with my huge lily collection. I bought $25 and got $25 of products free. So this year I am using this coupon from Gurneys as well for my veggies. I am going to start drawing a layout of my yard to figure what I will gorow and where etc so I know what to order as well. they ship them out according to the are you live in and when it's best to plant them as well. So are you getting ready and or hyped about your spring garden? Do you get catalogs? Do you use them and the coupons they provide also? Heres their web site if interested in their products. A very well liked and reputable company as well.

you're really organised! I am thinking of buying a potted plant next month. it's the spring festival soon. and I'm eyeing this plant called Fu Gui Flower, which has pink blooms that look a little like pansies but have a deep tubular centre funnel. It is usually about 1-2 feet in height and is a popular festive flower because of its cheery deep pink blooms.

The plants I have in my garden are well-established and I don't need to re-plan. Moreover, my garden isn't big enough to keep adding to it. lol.
It's a good idea to plan now though, whilst the sales are on, and you have time to make a good choice of what to grow. I'm quite looking forward to seeing a picture of your garden, when spring arrives. :)
Brightest Blessings.

I've a large backyard with plenty of space for various gardens. I think I may use more room this year than I did last year.

Its to early for me to plan my garden. In fact I dont have to plan my garden. All I plant is tomatoes and peppers. I just dont have the room. I wish I had more room that I can do what you do and order out of the catalog and plant all kinds of veggies.

No spring garden is being planned here. I dont get catalogues either. I do however take a good look at the local nurseries & other peoples gardens. In particular I look for WaterWise plants.
At the moment all I am focusing on is keeping my garden alive in this heat.
The leaves on the 6 pitasporan trees I have burnt the other day when it was 43 degrees celcius.
I know we can look forward to seeing photos of your spring garden.

Hurray. What a positive outlook on the second day of January. I have no doubt that global warming will come back to Minnesota and your planting will begin in March. I am not much of a gardener unless you count growing weeds as gardening. In fact, I think they are still growing, even during winter. One day, I will maybe start a garden. It must be fun looking through all the catalogs and planning your planting and growing strategies.

Planting in March? No way. Not in my lifetime nor my grandkids life times I think. I am lucky to have things all planted by June. HAHAHAHA!!
I seem to have a green thumb. I don't do much except water and weed. Not even fretalize the plants. Things just grow for me it seems. I love that it's so easy for me actually. I have been told I've got great soil though in my yard. So that helps a great deal with growing things.

As much as I would love to, I can't afford to buy anything from the many catalogs I receive every spring and fall. I grow all perrenials cept for my veges so I really don't have to do any planning. I decide what veges I'm growing when I'm about to head to the store and buy them.

I am impressed, I never seem to get it (my mind?) together to be so well organized with gardening. I like to get seeds from baker's creek heirloom seeds. most everything now adays is owned by mons@nto chemical and I wish to avoid them....

My twin sister has a garden almost an acre in size so she is starting already. She feeds all the neighbors and then some. She loves to work in the dirt. I went up and helped her can and finish the last of her garden last year. I think I will do it again this year.
I do not have room here to have much of a garden I will be planting my green beans again.
