Do you just decorate for Christmas or do you doll your house up with decorations for the other ones too? I am going to do my house for Valentines day because I have a little granddaughter who loves to come to grammy's and decorating makes my house funner to visit! Do you have plans to decorate for Valentines or the other holidays?

Wish I did have a reason to decorate but don't. Our grandkids are very young and out of state. Our kids are too old and would think I am going nuts...lol I visit Walgreen's or Walmart if I get the urge to see Valentine's or other decorations.

Walgreens have the coolest things. I went there the other day and got awesome Christmas cards for two dollars! I know I won't lose them, so I can be ready when next Christmas rolls around. Each holiday, you can trust Walgreens to have unique, reasonably priced things.

No. Christmas/Hanukkah is the only time I decorate the house.Since I don't have a steady. Valentine's Day means watching the St Valentine Day's Massacre. It has become such an tradition that even if I had a steady I would still watch it on Valentine's Day.

It is never too late to start a tradition. You and your steady/spouse should do something that you both really want to do.And if you don't have a steady, then treat your self and do something fun.

I decorate for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas only. I have a neighbor that has lights etc for each day that's even the slighest bit special. I can't afford all the lights and the electric bill.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I don't decorate for holidays as much as I do for seasons. I have different colored candles, different greenery, and things like that which I put around depending on season.
The only holiday I really enjoy decorating for is Halloween, but my husband decorates for Christmas. :)

In the U.K., no one really does decorations other than at Christmas time. I think it's a shame. I loved it when we lived in the States as a kid and for Valentine's and even St. Patrick's day, people would dress up, decorate, and make cupcakes, cookies and other treats. It was so lovely as a kid to have to much to look forward to throughout the year.
My mum still has a little Easter tree from when we lived in Virginia, but she doesn't really even bother to put it up anymore.
At my home we decorate for Christmas and also I make my other half help me put up Halloween decorations, which is quite rare here, but I love it! I still love making a fuss about the holidays. It must be the kid in me!

I decorate the most for Christmas, but I also decorate for Valentine's Day, Easter, the Fourth of July, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. Even if it is just two or three little touches, it makes me feel better about my place. I like to have a reason to celebrate.

come to think of it, we only decorate our house when Christmas is coming! i do remember that when i was in elementary school, we used to make Valentine decorations at school and our teachers would tell us to decorate our house too and i did. but it never became a tradition in our house. we also don't decorate our house during Halloween. so that's it, we only decorate our house during Christmas. ^__^

I just decorate our house for Chinese Spring Festival. In my primary school our teacher taught us how to decorate our house with window cling decorations and taught us how to diy decorations ourselves.I remembered I made a red lantern and hung it on the wall.Though we celebrate Christmas, we don't decorate the house on Christmas.

I didn't even decorate for Christmas this year, though I usually do. Since we weren't going to be here and I just didn't feel like it I didn't bother.
The only other holiday we do any decorating for is Halloween. Even then, its only a couple of carved pumpkins.

I don't have any kids so I just decorate for Christmas and some decorating on Halloween. I think that if and when I do have children I will probably decorate for more of the holidays and probably a bit more on the ones I do decorate for. I think it would be more fun to decorate if there are children around.
