Participating in online surveys

Has anybody made real money with online surveys?
I have found that I get points and entries into sweepstakes drawings for a CHANCE to win thousands of dollars.
In many instances, you're expected to spend money on an offer.
Then when I have tried participating in a survey, I haven't qualified for one reason or another after the first couple questions. I gave up.
I'd like to hear a success story if you have one.

I haven't made thousands of dollars but I have made a few hundred doing surveys. I go through 4 or 5 different companies. I never pay for anything or have to sign up for anything. There are some legit ones out there that do pay.

I am not sure the companies I use can be done out of the United States, but I will send you a message with my blog site. I don't keep up with it too often, but if you scroll down to old posts, I added all the ones that have paid me. I also have a couple of banners on the site of companies that have paid me.

Ok, I couldn't send you a msg for some reason so I just added the link to my profile. Just be forwarned that I am not good at keeping up with it at all. I do the surveys though and really get paid.

I like the sites that combine both offers and surveys. They seem to offer the biggest bang for your buck.
I have earned over $250 on SwatCash and last week I won $1000 on the site, simply for having 50 posts in the forum.
If you would like more information, please let me know. You can join either through the banner in my profile or through my blog, which is also listed in my profile. (You can see the proof of payment there as well).
Good luck!

ya I have been earning from so long from survey sites. I would say that this is not the opportunity which ultimately gives you thousands of dollars but you can surely get worthful amount of money. If you are from USA then there are so many from which you can earn around $5 to $10 per day. Any way I too have a list of some survey sites but as I am not a person of USA I dont have many. But I tell you register with as many sites as possible and you can earn good. So if you want to know surveys sites which I recommend then you should visit my blog http://www.bucksfrominternet.com which is related to online earning opportunities.

I have actually made a good amount from survey sites, and have gotten to test great products. Usually companies look for certain demographics of survey takers, I am 20 and have a child so I usually qualify for a lot of the surveys and product tests I do. Have you tried Pinecone Research? I really like them since they give you either $3 or $5 per survey and product test (this depends on the form you use to signup). I also like Survey Spot as well, but I think everyone has different luck than others with survey sites, I guess I have just been lucky. You can view survey sites and payment proof on my website in my profile, obviously some survey sites are easy to reach the minimum.

Thanks for the info. I have never tried Pinecone. As for being more qualified, I guess I could "lie" my way into qualifying *smile* and have more opportunities.
I don't have a job. I just want to make some extra money.

Those weren't actual surveys if you had to fill out sponsor offers and give out your CC number, a legit survey site will never ask for information like that. Good Luck :)

Yes, I've found a couple of legitimate sites. I've done a lot of surveys for zoom panel and have earned enough points to get some fairly decent merchandise. I am still saving, though, so I can earn the top prizes which isn't so far away now.
I'm thinking the initials of the other one is ACO. Anne Parks, I believe. It hasn't paid a lot, but when I've been selected for surveys, it pays by check via snail mail, and it really does pay.

I've given up on surveys as well. They're very long, only give you so-called "points" that I don't know how they translate into cash, and I'm disqualified for most surveys. Maybe residents of the USA have more luck.

I have the same situation with you.
About one month ago,I had so interested in the online surveys that I had spended many nights for registing as a member of online survey companys.
But for about half monthes I had not received one survey for me.I think it's very difficult,so I now lose the interest.

A few months back i purchase an online package promising access to lots of survey sites plus data entry bonuses. But before i purchase the product, i already signed up to some panels. Then i discovered that most of the panels listed on the package can be found for free. I ended up asking for a refund. Currently, i have a payout totalling $18.00 from 2 different panels. It wont make you rich as what it claimed. Neither can you quit your job and just do survey as your full time job. Just for opinion.

The best thing to do is look around. What you've done here is perfect because everyone who's here looking to earn some cash can see this and find a great place to make some extra money. Myself, i've been looking around for lots of places to make money.
I'm from the UK and the only place i've found to be good so far is Ciao.com. That you can write reviews on products and earn upto £5 per review and they even email you surveys which you can earn from 50p-£2.50 on (sometimes more but very rare).
I myself have made a fair bit on there so far but i've always been looking for something more. I think if you're doing online surveys you don't want to be involved with points schemes. I had one like that. You never get anywhere fast!
I wish you all the best in your hunt for good survey sites and if you find a great one. Let me know! :)

Never. I have ever attend some serveys but never earn any money or gift. I asked my friends about the question when I got a referal link from them, they also told me they're not but they would try. Meanwhile, I read some articles which post the writer's referal links that said they got the extra money. I can't judge if it is a true story, but if you want to know, you may spend your time to join these games and have the final explaination within 2~3 months in the end.

Globaltest market and ciao are the international survey sites that really pays.though in Globaltest marketing it will be points yet you can encash it when you reach 1000 points.they will be sending atleast 2 surveys per month.if you are not qualified then also you will earn 5 points for the time. The another site which is for US members is pinecone research and i have been paid couple of times by them.

To win thousands of dollars in online surveys is really rare. Don't expect too much because as you said, they can tell you that you're not qualified for one reason or another. It is possible that you have filled the survey and then, they will tell that you're not a proper target market based on your information given to them.

Most people don't make "thousands of dollars" doing online surveys but it's not outside the realm of possibility to make a decent amount of money if you're invloved with several unique programs (programs without too much overlap in offers). I'd like to invite you to look at my sites and see if any of the programs I'm in look interesting to you. If you're already doing several GPTs I would encourage you to pay close attention to Brring as it can really help catch a lot of telemarketing calls that result from the GPT offers and they pay you for the privilege of fielding them! Here are the GPT programs I do:

I am signed up with a couple of survey sites and though most of them might take awhile to achieve the payout I am signed up with a survey site that I have requested a payment of $32.00 but like you said it depends if you qualify for it. In most cases you will have to be patient to reach your payout.
