It really depends on the person. There are successful businessmen who were not able to finish their degrees but were successful with their businesses. Success really depends on how the person carries it whether they have a degree or not. :D

As for me,
if you have been to school or coolege and got a degree, then you will be a good manager!
Othewise,if you don't have a degree, you will be a good leader or a complete loser, and the probablity is 5 versus 5,if you work hard enough!

I haven't finished college yet but will next year. I have 2 kids, and I just turned 26. I don't feel as though I am successful which my husband thinks is crap. He has helped me to understand that just because I am not the doctor that I had envisioned myself being by now does not mean that I am not a success. Going to college also does not mean that a person is or will be a success in their life.

I seriously think education is extremely important. Although most of the richest people on earth does not have a complete education (Bill Gates and Dell were high school dropouts, Albert Eistein never completes his studies, etc), but those people are generally "genius". I believe geniuses are born, not made. So unless you are a genius yourself, I suggest you to complete your studies.

i think being successful is when you have achieved goals in life that you wanted to achieve, one of my goals is to be a forensic scientist, and if and when i reach that i would say i was successful to get there, for this though i am at uni getting a degree, but i dont think you have to have a degree to be successful, there are plenty of sucessful things you can do that dont require you to have a degree.

in most cases you do, but it really depends what your goals are. most people in the business industry don't need credentials, they need experience. i do know that most occupations require a degree in an area of specialty, and the higher the degree, the more you get paid

Not necessarly ,one of the richest guy in Romania has never even finished high-school ,he is successful,I think he got rich by selling terrains and then entering politics.
He is now founder and president of a party.
I,on the other hand , will use my intellect to become successful, because it's the easy way out for me.
