Whats a good way to get your artwork seen? I have heard about people having their own websites but I don't know how to start and I don't have a working scanner to upload my pics so what do I do?

When you have uploaded your art into your computer, there is a website where you can post all your art. www.deviantart.com

You can get a good free website from Microsoft Office Live. It is template based so you don't have to know how to create web pages. If you have a digital camera you can photograph your work and upload it to a gallery page on your newly created site.

The better way to show off your artwork is to have your own website.but don't have it dosn't matter.you can show off your artwork on a blog such as live space,myspace......it looks like you need a scanner.but you can get help from your friend to scan your pics over and then make them upload.

One thing you can do is to take your sketchbook out and draw in public. It's not as big an audience as the world wide web but it's a chance to be seen and be known locally as an artist.
A careful setup and a good camera can also do the trick.
There are also several artist communities such as DeviantArt, WetCanvas, and ConceptArt - which you can join.
