ALF - what are your thoughts on ALF??

Animal Liberation Front. If you've never heard of them you can google them on youtube and find lots of results. Do you think they are heroes for their action, or do you feel like they are giving activists bad names by breaking the law? I'm not sure how I feel about it. I love them for their compassion. I love them for the fact that they are so passionate that they put their freedom on the line for animals that most people don't give second thoughts about. I am worried that it's not the way to go about it. I am worried that people will close their minds to ideas like animal rights because they associate it with illegal and sometimes even violent force. what are your thoughts?
