Baggy Butt

No, baggy butt is not something I usually say. In fact I usually say 'rear', how quaint, huh? Anywho, I was walking along one day probably with nothing in my head, and someone called out to me. That is, they called out to Baggy Butt. Sadly, I didn't have to turn around to know they were talking to me. I have one pair of jeans. I bought them three years ago, and I have lost weight since then. So in the rear area it does indeed look like a 'baggy butt.' Because I am tall and don't do tapered jeans (they look bad on me), there is one place I get jeans, and they cost around 40 dollars. That is of course why it has been three years since I bought some. Well, long story short, my parents noticed my derriere situation as well, and told me with pity they would buy me a new pair since I couldn't afford it. I think actually they didn't want my rear associated with their family name. : ) So, Baggy Butt is the last name I was called other than my given name, Amber. What was the last name other than your regular name, that someone has called you?

Gee I wish I had your dilemma..No my butt's not big, never has been, but could stand to lose some weight in my belly region. In fact, since I've always had a small, flat butt I have to usually get large sized boy's jeans or small men's since they fit better. Nope most times I get rude remarks because of how I dress. You might just say I reflect my old hippie woodstock persona...LOL. In other words maybe can be considered to dress rather "artistically"??? Which also means I wear a lot of Native American style jewelry including one of those bone-chokers--this does reflect my Native American heritage of which I'm part...so I quite often get some wiseass putting their hand up and greet me, "How, Pocahontas" Or "How squaw"..lets just say my reaction is to punch their lights out.. LOL

I thought New York was one of the most 'live and let live' places in the country. How rude. I bet I would love your apparel. Yeah, I'm baggy butt, but what they don't know is, one tug, and my jeans would come down. I'm barely keeping them on. So yay for me! New jeans...

When I split up from my ex-b/f before meeting my Hubby, I lost alot of weight from depression and I got teased too about the whole baggy butt thing. I haven't been called anything terrible lately except Squeeky b/c my voice has been going out due to being sick. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Thanks! I used to use just the center rose but I've recently learned how to add the corners, my name and got some new tubes (the little stars). I thought it turned out really cute! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Every girl deserves to have a properly fitting pair of jeans, especially you, Ambie, and especially after losing weight! I'm glad your parents are helping you out to get some good jeans. I have been called a few last names other than my own that I can't repeat here that make Baggy Butt seem like something wonderful.

I'm sorry that you were called such a mean name, but the good side of it, I bet you will look good in your new jean. The names that I am called other than my name is mommy, mom, jewel, and dew. My mom sometimes calls me her beautiful daughter. I'm sure you have some nice names that you are called too.:)

Well now that was pretty rude. Baggy pants are so common these days. Well, it's good that you got some new ones anyway. The last name that I was called out of my given name? hmm...i can't think but that's probably good...it was probably not something acceptable for here.

Obviously your problem is not that you have an actual baggy bum - it's the fact you haven't gotten around to celebrating your new shape with better clothes! Surely there is a Salvation Army clothes shop or a decen second hand store in your area? I LOVE thoseplaces! I've purchased designer originals (one original Couture dress from a Montreal designer ($30!), one Ralph Lauren skirt and more really great jeans than I can shake a stick at.) Take 15 dollars and go to your local Value Village and go shopping. Lots of Sally Ann shops in larger cities have actual designer outlets or higher-end clothes shops located somewhere. Goodwill does the same thing as well, I believe.

The nearest Goodwill is just sad. I've actually donated specifically to them before because it is the saddest looking thrift shop I've ever seen. But I have noticed a new thrift shop down the way. The problem with my jeans is that I'm six feet tall, so sometimes they are either too long, or too short. But I have great luck with shirts at least, : ). Thanks for responding!

Adult clients of my agency often call me Sweetheart, or My Girl, so that is kind of neat. I would deliberately not look if someone called me such a negative name.

My Girl? That is so sweet. Wow, your work must not only challenge you physically, but your heart must get a work out every single day. You work hard, and I certainly hope they appreciate you. From a prior discussion it sounds like their families sure do.

I used to be called a nickname that was like my real name when I was a kid. Also I have gotten my name said wrong, like Jeanette instead of Annette, Anita, Janet, Ann, etc. but that is because it was a genuine mistake. I have been called Fishing Net when I was a kid, and I used to retaliate and call a name back, but I was a kid then and I do not have funny stories and none of my names were in reference to my body, only it is making fun and I did wish I had a different name, I wanted to be called Toni or Antonia for short.

My roomie is always calling me "George." As in "which way do we go George?" I'd prefer another name, but can't seem to get her to go with it. I'd actually prefer Elic, but I'd take Tom or Thomas - since he's one of my saints. Nope, its George.
