That sounds like an old cliche. It might well be. But it is also a question that never grows old. An ever green question. If money can't buy happiness, why is everybody so crazy about it? If it can buy happiness, where can we buy it from and who sells it? If it's the amount of money that counts, how much money do we need in order to be happy? If it's not the amount that counts, why do we always want more?

The question of course deserves a negative answer. I should say without money can you lead a happy life. Never money is money that has an important role in making happiness in this world of luxury.

Money can not brings happiness to a person. You can see the poors who dont have enough money to servive but they are happy ,this is my experience I have seen lot of families who dont have money but they are happy.
According to my view of point Happiness comes with the love.If you love mankind you will be happy ,if you love God you will be happy.
If you love God your life and soul will be happy.

Money can buy you happiness. But its only Temporary. If your unhappy and think that money can make you happy, your only going to be avoiding the true issues that makes you unhappy. Its like when your trying to break one bad habit you just replace it with another one. Not to mention that money is a double edged sword. All the happiness it can bring you will also bring along misery. People looking for handouts, draining your of your money, and then comes the family feuds and friendships breaking up. I like being middle class.

I don't think happiness can be bought with money.I think people have to make there own happiness.I've seen poor people who always had problems with money but they were happy.Ofcourse money is sometimes very welcome especially when you're in debt but further you have to bring happiness to yourselve.

I don't believe money can buy happiness. I think that happiness comes from within and not from the size of your bank account. People always will want more than they have, and when they get more, they spend more. With massive amounts of money there's still headaches about it, just different headaches lol. Look at the media stars, they have money, but they can never be sure if their friends are truly their friends, or if they're there just because of the money. At least in a lower income bracket you can be relatively sure that your friends are there because they genuinely like you, and not for what they can do for you money wise.

That is one of my favorite question. I have even bought a domain based on that question and trust me when I say that I have thought a lot about this.
I think that main reason why people think that money make them happy is because every poor people know how happy they are when they have huge lack of money and then they get some. I think that money makes you happy, but when you have enough it, it just doesn't matter. There are lot of more important things in life.

It seems people make their happiness dependent on outside influences. If I have more money, then I'll be happy, but when they get more money, their happiness suddenly becomes dependent on some other outside factor.
Happiness is a choice, and it doesn't come from outside factors. The only reason we think more money would make us happy is because we convince ourselves that it will make us happy. It's all a choice.

There are many different kinds of people in the world, and that may have something to do with it. Some may be the kind of person who becomes happy when they can have people around them such as a family or friends. Others may be happy knowing they have a lot of money. These people would be the kind who are not bothered by having two, one, or even zero people around them in their life.

Money may not be able to buy happiness, but it certainly will buy the things that prevent grief. The importance of this is that being rich is not the answer, but being comfortable and being able to do stuff like MyLot is a consequence. I don't want to be rich. I just want to do interesting work and not worry about money

When you find out this answers can you please let me know!
I have never been of the belief that money has the ability to buy true happiness. Last time I checked I happiness was not for sale. It is not something that I think you can buy.
Happiness is something that is created and shared with those that you love and love you.
I too boggle at the way society struggles to increase their wealth.
Perhaps it is the perceived happiness that money buys that everyone is searching for?

you'll be happy if you could buy all the stuff you want.. but after that.. you'll get bored.. so my answer is yes, it can buy happiness but only temporarily.. everybody is crazy over it thinking that they'll be happy if they can get what they want.. but eventually they will realize that they were wrong..
