Have you ever done something so stupid and embarrassing that you were so happy no one was around to see it? Well I did just that!!
I am sitting here looking over the discussions and eating some chips and dip, right. Well I got so caught up in reading one of the discussions that instead of putting my hand in the chip bowl, I actually shoved my fingers in the dip.
Or how bout this one for all the smokers...I did this a loonnggg time ago!! Have you accidentally ashed in your food? Yep did that too. I was taking a break from eating dinner and I was feeling a little full but felt that I might be able to finish a little later so I smoked a cigarette. Well I was watching this movie and right at the most intense part I forgot where I was ashing at and actually asked in my food...LMFAO!! Needless to say I didn't finish eating!!
Have you ever done anything like that?

The other day I was cooking my dinner whilst chatting to my flatmates, I needed to get a dish of potatoes out of the oven so I grabbed a tea towel, folded it neatly into three, put it back on the kitchen counter, opened the oven and grabbed the dish with my bare hands. I then panicked and dropped the dish (spilling the food all over the floor) and managed to hit the back of my hand on the oven door as I leapt backwards. Mercifully it didn't do any serious damage, my fingertips were just a tad raw for a few days

OMG, that is so awful but at the same time funny because I have done something similar on many occasions. I really am sorry that happened to you and very happy that everything turned out ok for your hands.
So what did you wind up doing for dinner after that? I would have taken my abused happy butt to the nearest place to eat!!

LoL, well that's good that you can laugh about it now!! And sorry that you didn't get to eat the potatoes, they are my favorite too...that and carrots whenever I eat roast beef.
Speaking of ironing, once when I was a little girl my mom made me iron a dress of mine because we were going somewhere special. Well I have no clue what I was thinking, I think I got aggravated by the wrinkles not wanting to come out...anyway all I remember is letting out a huge sigh and putting my hands to my sides (as if to give up). The next thing I new was that I felt this awful pain on my leg and I looked down at what happened...I still had the iron in my hand as I put it down on my leg!!!! You talk about some pain!! Needless to say, I haven't touched an iron since then because it left a pretty nasty mark on my leg. Sorry, had to share that!!

Lol, once I got over the shock of it is was pretty funny - the way I grabbed hold of it, realised what I'd done but then still took a few moments to react. My fingers are pretty tough anyway - I work part-time ironing so they get burnt a lot (I'm more than a little clumsy).
I ended up eating my roast dinner without the potatoes which was a real shame 'cos they're my favourite part. On the bright side

The dumbest ive done yet was to break in to the local cargbage dump and start to search for soda cans, i had been on for a while when the police came and got me. I was informed that they had spotted me seceral times while i was there and that they would let me go if i promised id never break in again (like id keep that promise yea) and i promised id stop breaking in there. Then they let me go after i cleaned up the mess i made during my holy quest for soda cans.
Another dump thing ive done is around 10 or 12 burglary or forcefull entry into houses that have been unoccupied for longer periods, i cant help that im so damn curious. The most fun was getting into an old school via the small toilet windows. Found lots of nice stuff, inkluding a Canadian flag.

Your welcome, i forgot to tell that ive also broken into both my Elementary school and another school not far from that, and that i tried to find a way to break into a third school. I got caught after that and had to pay some fines. That cept me on the legal side, for a short period of time.
There is also a Hotel that ive managed to get into, because they forgot to close a window on one of their basement rooms, that was fun running around there. I wish i could had the possibility to use(abuse) their indoor pool, but that was looked.

I was at a bar with a bunch of friends and we were getting pretty hammered. At one point I decided I was ready to leave but the guy who drove did not want to go. Well as luck would have it I had his keys so I took his car and drove home. He called the cops thinking his car was stolen. I am sure he would has kicked my butt if he could have, but I was bigger. Took a while for him to get over that one.

HI, that was good!! I've said some pretty off the wall things too!! One time, my family and I were watching t.v and something came on that was a huge shocker...sorry, can't remember what it was about, this was YEARS ago. Anyway, in my mind I was thinking "Oh my gosh" and also "Oh my goodness"...but what came out was "Oh my GOOSH!!!". Even now I am still embarrassed that I said that...you should have seen the looks that my family gave me!!!

I have ashed my soda while smoking; even worse, didn't realize that I ashed it til I went to take another drink of it!
The dumbest thing I have ever done, that I can think of, was back in highschool when I was taking driver's ed. Were practicing basic manuevers and whatnot in the school parking lot. Well, the driver instructor had us all back up across the parking lot. I did that part ok; but then he told us to drive forward and stop where we began. Well...I forgot to take the car out of reverse! I backed up over the cement parking block behind me and into the fence around the football field! And that's not even the worse part!! The worse part of all this was; that after I did this; it took me almost a full minute to realize what I had done wrong. During that minute I sat there shouting over and over, "why won't the car go forward?!"

Yep...I've done the ashing in the soda can too before. Only cause I was so used to using one as an ash tray that I did it out of pure habit. But thankfully I never drank it...LoL!!
That must have been awful for you!! What did you do as soon as you did realize what happened? You wanna know what's sad, I did almost the same thing, but when I was trying to get my actual license...I failed in 2 minutes...LMFAO!!!
