How Many Glassful of water do you have a day ?

Water is the most important thing that is required to sustain our life, only next to the air which we breath ! Water is required for day today metabolism by the body! It is required to maintain the body temperature and texture! It is the main ingradient of blood which nourishes various organs of the body! Water is excreated in various forms from the bodty and it is mainly helpful in excreating the wate materials from the body in the form of sweat and urine! There are many other functions of water that makes it absolutely useful for our body! So it is needless to say the more we drink water it is is better foir the body! Now a days people are treating or cleansing their bodies by drinking more amouint of water and they are terming it as water therapy! How many litres of water do you consume on an average? I know it will depend on the ambient temperature, Humidity and various other factors! Your answer will be highly appreciated! Thanks!

I know I don't drink enough water in a day, but your discussion definitely helps me see the importance of it. I usually only drink one 8 oz. bottle of water per day; however, that doesn't include all the juice I drink. So I'm not really sure technically how much water I get in a day. I know I only use the restroom between 5 and 6 times per day. If you can tell anything by that, I'm probably not drinking enough! I'm a very small person, so I don't eat as much as someone else probably does, which means I don't have to drink as much. It makes sense, but I try to eat more so I will drink more so I will gain more weight! This is a very good discussion as it encourages people to drink more water and be more healthy. Thanks!

Hi dear JJ4Ever! extremely sorry for replying so late! I fact I never thought of commenting back to my responses before hand, but now having realised my fault I have started commenting on the responses I have received in the past!This is one of my earliest attempt!
Yes, I think the more water we consume we are helping our body to clean it more as this water is excreted out in the form of Sweat and urine, which is basically a source of throwing the waste products from our body!

I do not drink a lot of water at all. I would say maybe a half a galss of water a day. I do drink a lot of orange juice and apple juice.

Hi Dear Babystar! Though you are compensating your input of water with the help of fruit juices, I think you should have sufficient quantity of water to have normal and healthy physiology of your body! so please take sufficient quantity of water along with the other liquids you are taking! Thanks !

i used to drink loads but these days i dont drink enough maybe three glasses a day

Hi Dear Louiseybaby! I think you should consume more water as this is one of the important ingredient the body requires after oxygen for our survival. water has got several roles in our body to perform and shortage of the water can lead to many serious set backs in the body!

I completely agree when it's hot drinking water feels really good. Usually for myself I drink the most water watching football because I'm the only one in my house that watches the game. I sit there for 3 hours and keep on drinking water while the game is going on.
