Travelling for me is a way to unwind especially when my schedule is hectic and when I lack time to spend with my friends and family members.
I think, the best thing about travelling would include scenic spots, tasting a lot of new foods and delicacies, meeting new people, being exposed to various cultures, a chance of learning a few words and expressions from another language and dialects and the shopping list of perks about travelling continues.
Perhaps the best thing about travelling is that it allows one to spend holidays and quality time with friends and family members without thinking of much stress and work.It serves as an escapist activity to people who live busy lives.
On the contrary, travelling is sometimes burdensome since one has to prepare all the necessary materials you must bring while on travel. It also entails much money since travelling is not necessarily an affordable vacation, as a trip is best enjoyed if big amount of money is alloted.
I only travelled some other Asian countries and counties in the gulf area and it was an enriching experience for me.It made me see the other side of the world and respect the idea that there are people different from me whom I can blend and at the same time respect my own ways and culture too.
To all mylotters, what is it that you like about travelling, are there some things you don't like about it?Where would you like to travel often? All are welcome to recall and share their travelling experience...

I really don't enjoy traveling. I have discovered that as I get older I am more and more of a home-body. I just feel more comfortable in my own surroundings, with the things I am used to around me. I think traveling is stressful.

I don't know if you want to be as comfortable at home as I am. I kind of wish I was a little more open to traveling. Well, the grass is always greener on the other side! :)

Yeah, they say so.But as i am getting older, I am appreciating how important to see your roots and that's when you go back and say, I'd like to get settled and that is home.My hubby who is a homebody taught me that...
Cheers!

I really love to travel. I travel to see the landscape in different countries. I like to meet the local people, stay in beach huts or locally owned guest houses and to view native wildlife. I especially like tropical beaches and islands. I enjoy seeing palm trees and whit sand beaches. I really enjoy snorkeling and seeing colorful fish and coral. I like to try to speak some of the local language. I enjoy sightseeing in cities to look at interesting architecture. I like to take many photos, buy a costume doll and some postcards for my two different collections. I am an independent traveler that likes to tour round staying in a few different places during a trip. I have traveled around the world, been on a safari in Kenya and have toured the holy region of Israel. My favorite countries that I have been so far are Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, the Seychelles and Belize. The most beautiful cities that I have ever been to are Sydney, San Francisco, Prague, Budapest, Dubrovnik and Salzburg. I would love to go to Cape Town and Vancouver. I would love to go to South America to walk the Inca Trail and cruise round the Galapagos Islands. I wish you happy traveling.

I love to travel, I travel as much as I can---meaning I try to save as much as I can then If I have enough money to go somewhere else I go, travelling always makes me realize that the world is so much bigger than myself and the world where I grew up in.
When I get home after I travel, I cant just seem to wipe off a certain goofy look for a while.

Yes you're right...There is so much more to explore and discover from our usual world we live in.It makes you realize some differences of culture other your own and make you more appreciative of what you are used to.
