put away money for kids college and set up a fund for them for thier life - like a trust of sorts -
then wed give to local places that helped US in times of need like.. a local church
and some other thngs as well like arborday to plant more trees and habitat for humanity and help build homes ( since we wouldnt need to work wed have time!) :)

I would invest the majority of my winnings, so that my husband could retire from work. As I am nearly 50 years old, this is realistic. If I invest properly, we could live off the earnings for the rest of our life.
I would of course, spend a little, on a new house, new car, caravan & a big overseas holiday.

Well first I would pay off all my debts, then pay off my mothers and brothers. Then I would buy a new car and get rid of the piece of junk I am currently driving. I would then buy my own home, get my mother and brother their own apartment. Save off a few thousand for my son's college fund. Make sure I saved off a chunk to pay on bills. Open up my own business and take my son to disney world and my family on a cruise or something.

What I wouldn't do is celebrate, because that would be a wasting some of the money. I would put some of it in the bank, some will be invested, and I will keep some of it which I will share with my family. This money won't last forever so yes, I will continue to work.

I would put the cash in the bank, and start planning as all hell. After that id either start up a game store or a custom car shop. If i want to start the game store, all i need to do is the go a simple how to start your own business course before doing essential planning.
If id pick the Custom Car Shop id get an education in Automotives construction and another one in car repairment before i even think of starting anything. i would also get som extra education in welding and metalwork, already got one year but i feel that some extra can't hurt.
I could think of using a small amount of the cash, to buy stuff i need, some videogames and getting my drivers licens, but the bulk of the sum would lie untouched.

I'd do the "boring" thing. I'd first pay off my debts. Then I'd put the rest in the bank and use the interest. I wouldn't stop working (just because sitting around for too long makes me antsy).
I wouldn't be greedy with the interest either. I'd probably fund a charity or donate to schools or hospitals.
(I'd also make a point not to tell my family because they tend to squander. XD)

Travel the world, and retire in a log cabin in the middle of my 100 acre natural reserve.

I think I would immediately pay off all debts, buy everything I would need to survive then divide up the rest between friends, relatives and charities. After all, how much wealth does a person really need if all their requirements are met? I don't believe any individual really needs millions or billions of dollars while millions of people throughout the world die each year of malnutrition or easily curable diseases.

I'd like to think I would invest it so the money would work for me and my family.

Pleasant to contemplate, I would take a trip to China with all my family members, and maybe travel other places also, would buy a house in an area I want to be in and a cool boat. I would make large charitible donations and invest the rest for future earnings.

Hmm, well I would like to think that I would save most of it. Put it in the bank and just use the interest that I earned from it. If I did spend some of it though, I would buy a new car probably. As far as continuing to work, if I could live off of the interest sufficiently, I would probably retire. If not, I'm not sure, but I would most likely continue working for a while anyway.

Hi. I would donate large sums to my favorite charities like: American Cancer Society, any type of African Relief organizations, my church, etc. I would buy all my immediate family and close friends modest homes and cars. I would also buy me a beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood. I don't drive so I would splurge on an oncall driver. My children and their children would financially set for life. The grandchildren would have trust funds and their college funds ready. I would take lots of family themed trips and those for just me and my friends. If I have a boyfriend (or is male companion) at that time, talk about taking your romantic getaways. I would have summer and winter homes. And last but not least, I would see Paris.

If I was ever lucky enough to win a big sum on the lottery, I have a list of people that I would help out. They are the people that were my friends when I was poor. I would share my wealth with them. And the "new" friends that would come around because I won could pucker up. If they can't be my friend now, they don't need to be my friend if I have money.
