Which season you enjoy in your country?

The two seasons in the Philippines are the dry and wet season. The dry season starts on the month of March and ends on the first week of June. From then on, the wet season takes place until September. In between these months are the cold months also known as "BER" months and January and February.
I mostly love the dry season. It makes me enjoy activities associated with outdoor in nature. This would include outings and going to beaches. It is also the time of the year when students are spending their summer vacation.During summer, my son would spend time with me and other relatives and just enjoy swimming and go out of town travelling and enjoy visiting some scenic spots in the locality. The dry season is the perfect time of the year to tan complexion, that is one prime reason that summer getaways are usually crowded. As outing is one scene that I love during dry season, most feasts and festivals are also celebrated."Santacruzan"(feasts of Saints through parade of beautiful women portraying it), and the "Flores de Mayo"(May flower festival parade), are held.
Opposite to the grandiose atmosphere of the dry season is the dull and bland wet season. Most of the time it is raining and people usually stays inside the house. Thus, it is non appealing season to me.Activities are indoor and this is the time when classes resume. If there is a group of people who celebrate this time of a year, it would have to be the farmers since frequent rainfall would provide natural irrigation to their crops.
How about you, which season do you prefer and enjoy, do you also have two seasons in your country or more...I would appreciate if you state the characteristic of your seasons and what sort of activities that correspond to it.It would make me know more about your countries.

There are some things i like about the wet and the dry season. i guess it's good that they take turns during the year if not I'd go crazy with just one. :)
the dry season - the summer's in the beach and visiting other provinces
the wet season - the cold breeze and the occasional rains.
Happy mylotting!

I love the spring in Michigan most of all. We have 4 seasons but spring is a wonderful releif after the long cold winters. All the plants and trees start to bud - each day it's a new experience seeing what is coming to life. We do get rain during this time but it's just part of the process and I make the most of the wonderful sunny days.

Spring in Michigan is the best - I've been all over the country but have never seen another area where there are so many different shades of green. Right now it' so dreary - lots of brown and white (it's snowing again)

Love the summer, aside from the sunshine the healthy effect is sweating out...Unlike rainy days, streets gets flooded and I am allergic to the flood water.Just that rain in a way makes the weather refresh and cool, you're right!

In India there are many seasons that are felt. Most important are summer, rainy season and winter. I like winter the most. its the season taht I can enjoy. I think most of the indian people enjoy it here. Mostly it is not that much cold all over India except few places. Its mainly dry too. Summer is so much hot i do not like it. I hate rainy seasons. it rains so much and water logging makes problem.

For me I like the October - Early March periods. These are periods that the weather is not that hot and not that cold. When April comes til early June although it is good since there are less rains but the heat and humid weather slows me down. In the months June - Late September weather is so unpredictable that it could become too rainy or could become too hot suddenly. That is why i usually get sick during that period.

hi mcjeannie! ^__^
i don't like either of our two seasons. ^__^;; i don't like rainy days because i can't go out and have fun. i can only stay at home and watch tv, surf the net, or sleep. but i do like it because the temperature is colder. ^__^ and then, when there's typhoons, work can be canceled! LOL
i don't like summer because its hot and i sweat. and i'm kinda allergic so too much sweat gives me the itch. .

I was born and raised in southern Florida (USA), and for me the rainy season is what I miss the most. Some people see that time of year as kind of gloomy, but I always felt it to be more like a cleansing process. I still remember as child how clean the air was after a good downpour from the heavens.
Thanks for bring back those memories!
