Has your state deployed a lot of soliers in the last few months.

I am in Indiana. Yesterday my state deployed 3400 soldiers to Iraq (one of which is my son). I have noticed other people saying that they know several soldiers being called up in their states.
If you state is sending a bunch please let me know which state you are from and how many are being deployed if you know.
I am just curious.

Oh your son was there? I received an e-mail about how like 20,000 people showed up in Indy to show support..I think that is awesome..:)
Actually I don't know about Ohio, but since I am close to Indiana, I will say that is my state too..:)

Will do, though truthfully the only people I know that are overseas, are online friends. I don't know anyone personally, but if I do hear something, I will let you know..:) blessings..

Hello dear friend. Yes he was one of 3400 that left Indianapolis Wednesday. They are now in Georgia waiting to ship over to Iraq. Once they arrive there they will be there for 365 days. Gonna be a very long year for Mom. I consider Ohio kissin cousins so we can be buddies. If you hear of a lot going from Ohio please let me know.

I don't know. The little gal I send cards to in Afghanistan runs the commisary there....and I sent her a big package for Christmas for her and her roommates and I haven't heard from her yet. I am kinda worried. She usually writes me right away. I am not a relative so I can't check up on her...I kinda get attached to them when I send letters and packages. Hope she is okay...dang it!

Oklahoma deployed a lot of soldiers. I have a nephew who is in the Navy and he will be deployed soon and my cousin is suppose to be deployed to Iraq in February. I was glad that my nephew got to come home for Christmas because we never see him now that he is in the Navy. I wish the war would hurry up and end already. It makes it difficult when you have family in the military.

Hello Bluestarmom, havent talked to you in forever...we were fortanute to have my son home for the holidays. I have no idea how many has been deployed from Illinois, but i know its alot..im gonna have to look into it. Love to you ,Toni xoxo

Hi there friend. I know you haven't heard from me for a while. Have been really busy catching up on my book sale stuff because I got really behind during the holidays and with Tracy leaving. I am so happy you got to have your son home with you for a while. We had a great Christmas too but had to say goodbye on New Years. I know a lot of states got hit hard with deployments. Makes me wonder what is going on.

I don't know if our country deplyed soldiers recently. I am in China, and the military action plans belong to national secret. As a peace-loving country, our government usually will not join the war which will influence internalion peace.
