I'm sorry i haven't been here because i was busy w/ the holidays...I know we all are, right? With all the activities i got sick, i was coughing since the 2nd week of december until now. Though i was sick and almost have no sleep almost every night, i enjoyed most of the time during preparations for parties i've attended and presentations. Until last January 1 i finally decided for a hospital visit for check-up and found out that i had asthma!!yup, the first time i have asthma, i always thought that it was just ordinary cough but so it was. Thanks to my doctor now i could sleep at night coughing not as hard as before i got the right medicine. I'm feeling better now, still continue taking medicines and plenty of water as the doctor advised. But all in all i had a wonderful time last holiday season, and for this coming year i'm hoping to have a prosperous and a happy year for all of us!!!

I'm sorry to hear that my friend and i don't have the right words to say to ease the pain you have right now, my heart goes out to you and your people. She must be a good person..

Happy new year everyone, My new year it was good and happy because i was able to celebrate the chistmas and the new year even my family is far from me. It is ok as long as im fine and my husband is fine and my family is in a good health. We have to take care our self because in this time the temperature is change. We need to take vitamins so that it can help to prevent any sickness and we need to have enough sleep so that our body can handle everything. Everybody needs a lot of energy so that we can do what we want to do.

My new year eve was nice and the party was fun with lots many prizes and continuous dancing.the DJ was very cool.It feels nice welcoming the new year dancing and rejoicing hand in hand with your family members.

yeah, it's hard to have been sick during these happy seasons.. but it was all worth it. I know God has a reason why i was sick, and i'm glad because i wasn't able to eat a lot.lol!!! so i wont gain weight hahaha
Anyway, i'm glad to hear that from you, i'm sure you enjoyed much and yeah it's a cool way to celebrate w/ music and dancing...love that too. Have a very happy new year and a fruitful one too! c",)

You are lucky you got diagnosed so soon, I went to years with almost constant attacks all winter long before I was diagnosed.
It is too bad that your holidays were spent sick, but I am glad you enjoyed them and feel better now.
Just keep up your maintenance medication and remember you should control your asthma, it should not control you. If you are not doing what you would normally do because of asthma talk to your doctor about it.

I'm sorry to hear about your attacks too, how come it reached that long before you were diagnosed?How are you feeling now? It's my first time to have this asthma. I decided to have my condition checked sooner because i no longer want sleepless nights because of this and i felt that it's not an ordinary cough, and i was right. About the medication i'm stopping it now because the day after taking em i had a bad headache and getting worse until now, and after every nebulation i felt chills and my muscles are shaking. Later i would visit again the hospital to consult another doctor because the previous doctor is already out until tomorrow. I feel like my head is heavy as of now..

that's a terrible way to wave 2007 goodbye and welcome 2008. i'm glad you are feeling better now mycharmm. you should be extra careful now that you discovered you have asthma.
it sucks to be sick especially when there's an occasion. i have experienced that. and one of that experiences was my birthday. ^__^;; anyway, my New Year went fine. just the usual. except that for this year, i was log on to the internet for the whole day. LOL

Yeah it really sucked but i tried to carry on with the activities though didn't have much rest and it was tiring but it was fun. I had to lie down or just stay in bed if i feel like i have to. hmmm would you mind sharing the usual things you do dear?heheh as for me i had no time to log on to the internet, because we were all busy..happy new year sweetie c",)

Hope you will have a healthy 2008. :) Do not stress yourself much, asthma can be quite tiresome. :)

It was not what I expect, but it does not matter what I was doing, what matters was who I was with. I spent New Year's Eve and Day with my boyfriend, and that is all that mattered to me.

We had a good time welcoming in the new year. We went to a party at my cousin and his wife's house and there was about 9 people there and we took our little boy with us and my cousin has a little boy too so they played. We all had fun!
I'm glad you went to the doctor and found out you had asthma. My husband has it too. He didn't have it until he went into the military and then while they were making him do all the exercises and stuff he couldn't breathe right and would cough hard and such and they told him he had physical induced asthma. It really doesn't bother him too often now except sometimes in the summer. But he has an inhaler and he keeps it with him all the time just in case.

Glad to hear that you had a happy celebration with your family, always love that***smiles***. In my 28 years that's always been the routine every christmas and new year... being with my family is the greatest!! and thankful that they are healthy.
Yeah i was glad i did, because if not i would've had another sleepless night or i would be rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night c",) Well, i'm feelin ok now thanks to the medicine. I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I never thought i could get asthma until now. 3 of my siblings have it and some of my relatives so it runs in the blood.. My uncle also always brings the spray with him in case of any asthma attacks.

Hi there my friend! I've been away for so long. I had a great New Year. My family was here with me for the Holidays. But then they went back to Manila the next day. Anyways, I still had a great time with them during the break. One bad thing I had during the New Year was my tooth. I was ready to get it extracted but my dentist said no so that I would enjoy eating during the New Year celebration. Now I'm suffering because I didn't get it extracted that day.

Oh..that really hurts! i'm sorry to hear that dear, but i'm glad that you still had a great time with your family inspite of that painful tooth. The dentist should have extracted it for now you are suffering because of it. I hate a bad tooth, i don't like to endure the pain caused by that so i would definitely advice to schedule extraction as soon as possible dear... I hope all will be well for you.moooch!! A lot of people were sick this New Year. My Doctors were sick. I went to my Chiropractors and they were at home getting better. They have chiro and physical therapy, so the therapist was there. I was fine because I could work with him, but it's a pretty bad start to a year when your Doctors are sick.

That's alright dear c",) all we all get sick at some point in time, maybe it's because of the weather or just a coincident that many of the people we know got sick, that includes me. But i'm glad that in my family i was the only one who got sick...Don't worry all will be well in time. I hope they are ok now.

My Doctors were out sick on Wednesday, but they were back by Friday. I'm glad they stayed out, I'd hate to get whatever they have. Take care
